We are looking for an International Tax (ITAX) Director to join our expanding International Tax Group in our Boston, Mass. Office.
Our International Tax practice consists of approximately 40 professionals nationwide with broad experience in international tax advising, structuring and compliance matters. It provides outbound and inbound structure planning, foreign tax credit, world-wide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, FAS 109, foreign assignment planning and general international business advice. In your important role, your responsibilities would include the following: (1) researching and consulting on various tax consulting engagements; (2) supervising the work of tax associates and assisting in their development and training; (3) interacting with managers, directors and partners and clients; (4) responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities; (5) reviewing tax returns and projects of tax associates.
Basic Qualifications
- JD degree or CPA required
- LL.M. degree in Tax Law and Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Must have at least 7 years of federal corporate and international tax consulting experience
Additional Qualifications
- Must have experience in mentoring, guiding and training associates or have ability to do so
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills required
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work additional hours as needed
