In your role you will be responsible for the following:
- - Work on client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects.
- - Work with other associates and managers on tax and transfer pricing projects conducting detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses demonstrating an understanding of transfer pricing concepts and method application to cases.
- - Evaluate intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans and conduct financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations, industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation
- - Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance through the use of MS Word, Excel, and various statistical sampling packages.
- - Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
- - Interact with client personnel to gather information.
Basic Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics or related field
- - Minimum of 5 years experience
- - Knowledge in several of the following areas: financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, strategy evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis.
- - Knowledge of managing functional analyses interviews to identify and assess clients' cross-border intercompany transactions.
Knowledge of performing market studies and industry research.
- - Knowledge of the economic analyses and resolution of complex global tax and finance issues faced by multinational corporations; including restructuring, divestitures, valuations and intercompany transactions.
- - Strong analytical and accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP.
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid research and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work will both autonomously and collaboratively.
- - CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar
- - Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
Preferred Skills:
- - Comprehensive technical skills, including pricing policies, executing market studies and strategizing on local-country tax authority transfer pricing audits and advanced rulings.
- - Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- - Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- - Master's in Taxation preferred.
