Death Tax Repeal Act of 2013 Introduced in House and Sentate

Julie Garber reports that the Death Tax Repeal Act of 2013 (H.R. 2429 & S. 1183) has been introduced in Congress. The bill proposes to permanently eliminate the federal estate tax and the generation-skipping transfer tax. The gift tax, however, would be kept in place.
